My mom recalls me singing when I was still in a high chair. Music has always been my passion and it's what i've dreamed about doing my whole life. I started out my musical journey in school singing in choir and music programs. I had my first solo performance at the age of 13 in a local contest and from then on i've been addicted to the stage. Over the last 10 years i've sung at several events. From weddings to hockey games to contests. I auditioned for American Idol in 2002 and competed in the Best New Talent contest in Los Angeles, Calif. in 2003. In 2005 I recieved 1st place the Knoxville Star contest in Bridgeman, Mi. and was sent to Knoxville, TN. to record an album of cover songs. In 2005 I was discovered by Cheryl Borowski from Starmakers Unlimited and she took me under her wing and introduced me to Gary Sadker from Red Ridge Entertainment in Nashville, TN. In 2006 Gary Sadker produced my first indie album "Dusty Road". I recorded in May of 2006 at Bayou Recording with some of the most awsome musicians i've ever heard. Some of the musicians that played on the album have played for some of the top artists including George Strait, Trisha Yearwood, and Jessica Andrews. It was an amazing experience being able to do a project with them.
Since recording "Dusty Road" Some of my music has been aired on 97.5 WYTZ out of Benton Harbor, Mi. as well as a radio program in Australia and The Netherlands. I've continued to perform for festivals as well as local contests. During the summer of 2006 at a contest at Club Landing in South Bend, In. I met a fellow contestant Alicia Rose, who had the same goals as me and who also had worked with Cheryl Borowski and Gary Sadker. The 2 of us started forming a friendship that soon turned into a bond like sisters. In June of 2007 we started working on learning some duo songs and have since formed a duo group called "Take Two". The 2 of us recorded some covers in Nov. 2007 and are now working on a duo music career. We are making arangements to move to Nashville, TN. in August 2008 to pursue or dreams further.
