Alabama was blessed with the birth of one of the world's greatest female vocalists, Patricia Gentry. She obtained this status with her anointed vocals and her incredible testimony. Patricia has traveled across the United States touching hearts and earning respect and admiration from people of all ages. She possesses a kind-hearted persona that enables her to meet people really well.
Patricia was awarded Female Horizon Vocalist of the Year at the 2007 Circuit Rider Golden Harp Awards held in Grenada, MS in October 2007. At the 2007 Georgia Country Gospel Music Association Awards, she took home the New Country Gospel Entertainer of the Year Award and the New Country Gospel Artist CD of the Year Award for her most recent recording, I Hope You See Him In Me. Patricia performed at the 2006 and 2007 Southern Gospel Promoter's Association Showcase for new talent at the annual National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY. She has hosted her own television show, It’s Time To Wake Up the Master, for fifteen years. It is aired on Unity Broadcasting Network in Russellville, AL. She recently recorded her first live video, I’ll Keep On Singing ' Till God Calls Me Home, featuring three of her Songs.
Patricia has strong family support of her ministry. Her husband, Don, travels with her everywhere, writes original songs for her and also serves as her emcee. They have five children and 6 grandchildren who deeply love, support and encourage her.

Patricia's most recent album, I Hope You See Him In Me, features eleven songs and was recorded with Southern Grace Records at B and L Studios in Russellville, AL. The title cut is one that is very dear to her heart and is her testimony. Written by her husband, Don, this song merited him the New Songwriter of the Year Award at the Georgia Country Gospel Music Awards in 2007. It also charted in the Country Gospel Top Ten in the Christian Voice Magazine. Patricia brings back up-tempo classics: Feeling Mighty Fine, I Wouldn't Take Nothing For My Journey Now and I Feel Like Traveling On adding her own fresh, new feel to them. Patricia concludes her album with a song written for her by Luke Waldon, It Will Be Worth It All, painting a vivid picture with words of our home awaiting us in Heaven. Patricia's powerful vocals combined with her unique style thouroughly completes this album. She is currently in the studio working on a new project that has a projected release date of March 2008.
