Television:

Bill Maher is my hero, Jon Stewart Anderson Cooper Tina Fey HBO and Showtime...no commercials! HBO and Showtime...great thought provoking shows!

Books:

I cannot name only a few, I read EVERYTHING, fiction, non-fiction, history...if I had to name a favorite book it would probably be "To Kill a Mockingbird" as an old standby and "Life of Pi" for a new one. "Another Roadside Attraction"! Stranger in a Strange Land, Cat's Cradle, The Ugly American, Slaughterhouse Five, Brave New World, Handmaid's Tale!!! "Geek Love" (!!!)...Carl Hiaasen, especially "Stormy Weather", because living in Florida is like living in a Carl Hiaasen novel, I love Margaret Atwood, Barbara Kingsolver, John Steinbeck, J K Rowling...love Harry Potter!!........ HISTORY...... "Island at the Center of the World", of New York City's settlement by the Dutch..."Under the Banner of Heaven"...."Stealing Lincoln's Body"..."Praying For Sheetrock" and "The Temple Bombing" by Melissa Fay Greene
