BIO & SUCH My Theatricalities: David Sophia Siegel
The last few years have found me working on music and sound for a variety of theatrical endeavors, including work with the Boxcar Theatre , Alex Tok and his One Kind Theatre , and extensive work with San Francisco sketch comedy fantasticality, Killing My Lobster .I, David, of reasonably sound mind, body, & etc, do hereby affirm that I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, before moving out to the San Francisco Bay Area to go to school and pursue the twisting and turning roads of many musics and certain other professions and what-seemed-to-me-to-be odd jobs.As it stands right now, in 2008, I'm very, very hungry for film new projects. Please drop me a line if you have music needs. I have many, many things I'd probably love to do for you!My Band: The Boneless Children Foundation
I also play in a rock band called, The Boneless Children Foundation . We play a fair amount around the Bay Area, so sign up for updates & keep an eye out for us. And our album, "Stars For Anyone" , rocked its way up to 200 on the CMJ charts back in late 2007.My Webcomic: The Boneless Children Foundation
And finally I write a webcomic also called The Boneless Children Foundation . Check it out, yo... a new comic every Monday. Since October 28, 2005!

Band Members: David, predominantly...I probably do occasional work with the exciting, attractive & very dynamic gentlepersons of The Boneless Children Foundation . Probably.Actually, I could probably use a cello player right soon, too...
Influences: Musical influences include Philip Glass, David Byrne, Jack Kerouac, Stephane Grappelli, The "Man of La Mancha" Original Cast Recording, the film soundtrack from "Hair," the entirety of "West Side Story," Psychic TV, Negativland, Love, My Bloody Valentine, the Dead Milkmen, Tom Waits, Jon Brion, Danny Elfman, Angelo Badalamenti, David Lynch, Wim Wenders, superhero comics, Terence McKenna, William S. Burroughs, Lou Reed, the Pixies, Camper Van Beethoven's album "Key Lime Pie," Charles Mingus, "Les Miserables," the film version of "Cabaret"...I don't know if it should actually be said first and foremost, but I am also heavily influenced by the things that happen to me and the stuff that I hear on that daily basis that I find I have trouble approaching & appreciating & wholly understanding. Nyeah nyeah nyeah, influence philosophy. Totally rahd.
Sounds Like: Like a mad scientist cooking up something delicious. In my magical mind, perhaps (David Byrne + Yann Tiersen) + (2 x mystery) + the details of the project + ponies and rainbows + Philip Glass prancing about...
