About Me

"One won't ever find a hip-hop outfit quite like The Resonators. On Oscillation, the trio's unorthodoxed components result in a stylistically diverse palate of social awareness. Combining educational with inspirational, MC/DJ Hap Hathaway delivers long, convoluted lines of poetry, back-dropped by Shaul Chrysler's precise guitar work and David Deveaux's multi-layered keyboards. Soulful, Chrysler-led instrumentals, like "The Force", are also dispersed throughout, not only preserving continuity, but giving the listener a chance to reflect on Hathaway's substance-filled lyricism. The elements maximize on "Shugar In the Raw", where Deveuax lays a smooth riff that Hathaway, and guest MC C-Rayz Walz, throw down all over." Dustin Bennett - Synthesis Magazine ....................."smooth grooves, hypnotic melodies and smart lyrics are what make the resonators resonate with music fans." - Trevor Warner, editor, Skyline Entertainment........................................ "We gotta represent the resonators in our best bets...off the hook!" - Synthesis Magazine.................................................... ..................
