About Me

I grew up in the Boston area but now live a little bit south of Providence, RI. I lived in Los Angeles for eight years starting in the late 1980s. I write novels, screenplays, and short stories primarily in the horror genre.

My Interests

Horror genre (fiction & film), animal rescue, reading, computers and gadgetry, movies, and a smattering of web design.

I'd like to meet:

Writers (screenwriters, novelists, short stories) involved in genre fiction. I also have a strong interest in animal rescue, particularly pit bull rescue.

NOTES ON HOW TO "FRIEND" ME
Because I receive SO much spam, I've switched my security settings to ask MySpace users to enter either my last name *or* email address into a little form before the "add" request goes to me. This (hopefully) will hinder some of the mass spam bots that crawl around Myspace.

You probably don't have my email address handy, but you should be able to figure out my last name from the big ol' banner at the top of the page. ;-)

Music:

A bit of everything: traditional folk music, Americana & old timey music, classical, swing, alternative, and some techno & hard house.I also revisit the hardcore favorites of my high school and college years on a regular basis (Black Flag, Dead Kennedys, Ramones, Clash, Minor Threat, Angry Samoans, Violent Femmes, and so on).

Movies:

I'll check out anything from horror to art-house foreign films. I tend to avoid romantic comedies.

Television:

I watch very little TV due to lack of time. I make the time to watch Battlestar Galactica on the SciFi channel, though.

Books:

Horror, fantasy, & science fiction primarily. My taste in non-fiction defies explanation. I also read a lot of trade comic books.
