Manitoba born Chris Ghidoni started playing guitar at the age of 19 inspired by the work of BB King, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Billy Gibbons. Before moving to Vancouver, BC she was the strat wielding darling of the Brandon blues scene playing extensively in the Westman area. Her shows there included The Brandon Folk Festival, Rockin' the Fields, and warm up gigs for Jack Semple and Big Dave McLean. Since her arival in Vancouver, Chris has earned herself a reputation as a ferocious guitar player with lots of musical attitude. Her recent performances at The Yale and The Backstage Lounge had her displaying her wide range of style; from caressing, honest soulful solos to spitting out vicious angry blues licks with tone being the first and last word in her playing. With a band of elite musicians backing her up, Chris Ghidoni is taking the West Coast by storm.
