Born in a musical family, Adis collaborated and learned guitar and other instruments from various musicians since very early on. At the age of 18, Adis won the internationally publicized MusicWest “Starfret†guitar competition (1995) that included Seymour Duncan and Paul Rivera on the judging panel.
Since enrollment in the school of hard knocks, Adis performed with many artists in Vancouver, BC music scene. Soon after, Adis got an endorsement from Vanous amplifiers as he also participated in demonstrating and testing of prototype amp designs.
His studies involved computer / electroacoustic music at the Simon Fraser University where several pieces focused on the 8-channel diffusion (Richmond Sound Design Audio Box) and these works were performed at the SFU Theatre and "Thanon Khaosan" at the Bourges 2005 International Festival of Electroacoustic Music.
In 2005, he performed at the “Ultimate Jam†competition sponsored by Vancouver Rock 101 radio station and placed 3rd as the only guitar player among the top 5 finalists who were all vocalists (fronting the band). Mike Soldano of Soldano Amplifiers was also a member of the judging panel.
10 years later since the Starfret event, Adis won the 1st place at the Vancouver Guitar Show (2005) “Shred-off†competition where Dave Martone was one of the judges.
In August 2006, Rock 101 radio station organized the "Ultimate Jam III" at the Media Club and Adis won the 2nd place as the only guitar player leading the band among the top finalists.
In October 2006, Adis won the 1st place in the "Shred Off" competition at The Greater Vancouver Guitar Show. Dave Martone (davemartone.com), Don Alder (donalder.com) and Brian Poulsen (NationalGuitarWorkshop) were among the judges.
In April 2007, Adis placed 3rd at the "Ultimate Jam IV" (Rock 101 radio station), as the only lead guitar player fronting the house band, among the contestants who were all vocalists.
"Hyperalgesia" is performed at the 2007 Bourges International Festival of Electroacoustic Music. The work explores prepared piano, computer music synthesis and octaphonic diffusion.
Currently, Adis is recording and performing live with various artists in many different music genres.
