Due Voci was formed in 2007 by two friends, Alison Meador, and Jane Monastyrly. Due Voci, which means quite literally, two voices, is exactly what these two women are. Two voices. Two uniquely different voices, blending together to create one unique sound. Currently, Due Voci are in the process of making their first album, with songs you'll find on any typical classical crossover album, but with a mellow twist.......................Jane, 21, was introduced to music from a young age by her father, a musician who studied music in Tallian, Estonia. She first sang in public with her mother when she was just six years old. She has been on the stage ever since, mainly performing contemporary worship music every week with her band. She has a genuine love of music, embracing a wide range of genres, from rock, jazz, and a newfound love of classical and opera! She hopes to expand her knowledge of music in general, and also plans to begin writing her own material..............................Alison, 26, began singing when she was seven years old, but her real love of music arose when she was ten, after attending her first musical. That was when her love of classical music blossomed, and she began to experiment with her own voice. She began voice training at fifteen years of age, and still studies with hopes of expanding her vocal repertoire. Her goal with Due Voci, is to bring both her and Jane's music together, to ignite a passion of music in others.
