Originally from Los Angeles, California Shayne Dalva was a resident of The United Kingdom for over two years. She made her recital debut in London where she sang at the Leighton House Museum. She also sang for Opera at Bearwood where she performed in a "English Composer's Concert" and in their Opera Gala, "Cavalier Rusticana" (Santuzza).
In Southern California the aspiring Soprano has performed in The Magic Flute (First Lady, Pamina and Second Lady), Cosi Fan Tutte (Fiordiligi), The Marriage of Figaro (Countess), La Boheme (Mimi), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica) and Madama Butterfly.
She has also performed in Benefit Concerts for the Skirball Cultural Museum and The Los Angeles Opera Chairman Of The Board, with special guest Sidney Poitier in the audience. He personally expressed, "It was an honor to hear you sing, I can not get over your voice and talent..."
She is currently studying voice with Vladimir Chernov (International Baritone and Faculty at UCLA), and coaches with William Vendice (L.A. Opera).
