Nicole Anne Mezzo-Soprano

Mezzo Soprano Nicole Anne has been performing for over ten years. She has had the opportunity to perform in off-broadway productions, community choirs, operas, professional choirs, and coachings with the reknown opera star Denyce Graves, metropolitan opera singer John Garrison, Vocal teacher Bonita Bachman-Granite, New York City Opera singer Marien Stieber and 8 time grammy award nominee/winner Dr. Robert Page.Nicole's first solo performance as a Mezzo-Soprano was the role of Gabbi/Bobby in the musical "City of Angels". After those performances she went onto playing roles such as Mrs. Franke in "The diary of Anne Franke" and Juliette Flemming in "Society at its best". Nicole Anne then went on to the Music Conservatory in Rowan University, receiving a bachelor's degree in music. While at the Conservatory she was involved in the Rowan University Opera Company. Her first solo role in the ROC was the Monitor in Puccini's "Suor Angelica". She then went on to performing roles as Cherrubino in Mozart's "Le nozze di Figaro", Prince Orlofsky in Strauss's "Die Fledermaus", Dame Carruthers in Gilbert and Sullivan's "The yeomen of the guard", Florence Pike in Britten's "Albert Herring". She also played scenes from the operas "Carmen" (Carmen), "Der Rosenkavalier" (Octavian), and many others under the direction of Marien Stieber.She also went on performing in the Rowan Univserity Choir, performing in Carnegie hall for two years under the direction of Dr. Lourin Plant. She received alto solos in Vivaldi's "Gloria" Bach's Machnificat, and Handel's "Messiah". Nicole also studied for three years with Doctor Robert Page, taking solo coachings and choir lessons.Nicole Anne has also received scholarships and awards. In 2005 she won the feighen opera scholarship and performed with the Rowan University Orchestra.
