DEZL

DEZL is a high energy, well tuned rock n roll machine dedicated to the concept of bringing classic hard rock to the masses and is currently writing material for their upcoming CD.
Formed in 2003, DEZL has been a steady force in the westman music scene. With a "both feet through the door" attitude, Dezl has logged thousands of miles in the past four years touring to venues in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Not content with a stagnant local scene and frustrated by a lack of local venues, Dezl took to the highways. Numerous trips to Northern Manitoba have garnered the band a steady following.
"It's not just the gig" explains vocalist Craig "Cycletrampp" Wilk, "it's the journey, the games played amongst ourselves, the set ups, the adventures, the thrill of the unknown, but the climax is definitely getting on stage with these three guys....it's pure adrenaline".
Back in 2003, the band took root as two co-workers discovered their mutual desire to form a band. The usual revolving door of musicians followed as Dezl finally settled into a solid line up in the fall of 2003. The following year proved to be successful as the band played steady shows thru the year that included stops at Manitoba Summerfest and Rockin the Fields of Minnedosa. The band has since had the pleasure of playing in support of Theory of a Deadman, Jet Set Satellite and Econoline Crush.
Armed with an arsenal of classic tunes as well as a handful of originals, Dezl's energetic high powered show is sure to keep you riveted. Whether banging out classics by Kiss, Metallica, Nazereth, Godsmack and Ozzy or settling down to some CCR and Johnny Cash, the guys present their show with authority.
"If you're gonna do something, do it right" states Cycletramppp "We don't mess around and when it comes to show time....it's go time. That's what we are all about".
