.. Just an update for all of you...recording our new album is taking a lot longer than anticipated, so please bear with us. We finally put up a couple of new tunes that have already been recorded. Check them out and let us know what you think. Newly added to our site are some pics from RIDGEFEST 2006, in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada...among others. FINALLY!!! Together for over five years, Tangled has adopted an eclectic arrange of music. They enjoy playing songs ranging from a rocked up version of Garth Brooks’ "The Dance" to "Shoots and Ladders" from Korn.These five unique guys have come together with different musical influences to create a sound all their own for their original material. From the East Indian sounds of "Change" to the straight-forward rock of "Paranoia" to the philosophical "Ignorance and Apathy".Tangled has played in several places between Melita and Winnipeg, making stops to play the Reston Fair Social, New Years at the Virden Grand Central Hotel, headlining the Rivers Homecoming Jam three years in a row, and Brandon’s Ridgefest. They have also had the honor of winning first place at Winnipeg’s largest battle of the bands at the Osbourne Motor Hotel (The Zoo).With over 30 covers and over 20 originals, Tangled has the ability to play almost any venue. From a one-hour intimate acoustic gig to a three hour hard charging rock show, Tangled has done it all.Tangled spent the winter of 2003-04 creating their debut album: the experimental "Blackside". With over eight hundred albums sold, air time on three radio stations (that we know of), and an interview on KX-96 in Brandon and Power 97 in Winnipeg. The opening track "Petzombie" recieved a 4.8 out of 5 star user feed-back review on garageband.com as well as ..66 place all time, ..25 best melody of all time and ..5 most rocking track of all time in the alternative metal category. Tangled is currently recording their second album in this month of October. This next album will have a new sound. We’ll keep you updated as to when it’s completed.COMING SOON!
