About Me

Hello all. The guys and I are hoping to get ourselves back into the same country this year, hold on. But artistic life goes on. I am really looking forward to working with some of the wonderful people I have met this past year. If you cannot imagine a time that music has not, or will not, be paramount to you; then you are my kind of person. Write o

Band Website: working on it
Band Members: Fernando J. Rojas, Antonelli Kesler, August Donne
Influences: Where to start? JON BUTCHER, GARY MOORE, BLACKMORE, JEFF HEALEY(RIP BROTHER), anybody that really feels it. After that the list becomes complex. Love the freeform motion of Colosseum and Fourplay. The live performance excellence of Rainbow, particularly the Powell, Dio, Blackmore, Carey, Bain lineup. Throw in the velvet smooth voices of Paul Carrack and Jim Reeves; the perfect song layout of solo Paul Rodgers. Awestruck by the songwriting ability of Jim Steinman and Fish (the man not the band). Get off to the nasty blues of SRV, Jeff Healey and Gary Moore (the greatest guitar player on the planet). Simply love the debut record from Storyville,"Bluest Eyes". Sweetvine was amazing, check it out. Love David Gilmour, Vanilla Fudge, The Faces, Susan Tedeschi, the great Linda Ronstadt, diverse Jefferson Airplane, even Sara Evans and Marilyn Martin. Love the artistic wail of Dave Meniketti. First record to woo me daily had to be "Glass Houses" from Billy Joel. Wore it out on a daily basis as later "Asia", "Rainbow On Stage", "Barefoot Servants", Jon Butcher "Wishes", Gary Moore "G-Force" would wondrously follow. Love the emotion and feel of Glenn Hughes. If you haven't done so, listen to "Addiction". That is a good rockin' record. And, could there be a smoother, cooler band than Thin Lizzy? Love, love that feel. Love the underrated complexity of Deep Purple. Ritchie and the guys were great at that. Really enjoy his Blackmore's Night work. That is fantastic music. Ritchie has really hit a homer with that. Just super cool, especially the new twist that can be put on old Purple and Rainbow faves. Hate music that is emotionless; it doesn't have to make you cry but it does have to do something to you, make you feel SOMETHING.

Sad, sad day

Just learned of the passing of Jeff Healey. I have been a huge fan forever and this news is sad indeed. His style is exactly what I look for in guitar players. "If you are gonna play it, play it" is m...

The road not taken

Just pontificating abit about life choices. It seems we tend to beat ourselves up far more for decisions we did not make. Bad decisions are ok, lack of decisions is far less forgiveable. I have been g...

Oh, those fortunate souls

Man, how wonderful it must be to be able to play and record on a daily basis. I fear too many working musicians take this amazing gift for granted. Personally I struggle juggling everyday life, work, ...

What a kick
