About Me

BTW...I plan on posting lots of videos. When you visit and play a couple then the next one won't play, just hit refresh on your browser. That should do it!
Spent my career working in TV, Film and music. Owned a pretty good size production company some years ago. Most of the business was corparte communications, but we did have fun rocking out at the local clubs and producing video concerts for the likes of Jon Butcher Axis, 'til tuesday, Joan Jett, The Stompers, The Fools and several well known Boston area bands in the 1980s.
Here's a test video from a New Hamshire band Michael Vincent and Doubleshot Blues Band, Mike shouldn't be able to play the strat so well! Cuz he's only 15 years old! YIKES! Enjoy Voodoo Chile A Slight Return
Be sure to check these guys out at: http://www.myspace.com/doubleshotbluesband
In my career in TV and communications I have met and worked with many interesting people. Top on my personal list was my baseball hero, Ted Williams. Got to spend 4 days in Florida shooting a series of TV commercials with him, drving up and down the coast, golf, tennis, and fishing. Ted was a world class fisherman. Took us all out about 40 miles into the Gulf of Mexico just to shoot one TV spot. I can close my eyes and see that right now. Ted was just wonderful, a big gregarious man. Opinionated, gruff, but always a big smile. Attended a big dinner for Ted in Florida, the outpouring of love for this guy, not the baseball player, but Ted, their neighbor was wonderful. This was back in 1986 I think, when Ted was still healthy and vibrant. During a commercial shoot with Ted playing tennis, I played the extra. I played well enough for Ted to ask me to play a set with him the next AM. Unfortunately, to my dispair, the shooting schedule got the better of us and we had to visit the Manatees in the gulf. (SIGH)
Other experiences of interest, I hope. Growing up in the communications age, I had many TV heroes, one of them was Sir David Frost. David worked for the BBC, and all over the world for that matter. He was most noted for his interviews with all world leaders, broadcast world-wide. If you were important, in the news, David Frost was at your doorstep. As an aside, Sir David hosted one of the most original comedy series ever produced in the 1970s from the BBC then here in the USA, "That Was The Week That Was." In any event, I had the pleasure of producing a corporate marketing video with David and my client Bill Conway. As producer, I had the pleasure of picking David up at the airport in Boston and taking him to the Four Season Hotel, and having dinner with him that night, and directing the TV shoot the next day...Jeez, what a trip!

My Interests

Interested in music of all types, particularly classic Rock and bands from New England. Also inventive comedy. And did I mention food? I love to cook, mostly on the grill, all year long, even in blizzards. People tell me I am pretty good at it. Maybe should have gone into the barbecue business. Sports? Yup! Long suffering Red Sox fan, although 2004 was pretty cool. I play golf at least once per year! LOL! You don't want to see that.
