About Me

BIO: In 1980 Luc had his 1st film experiences in London working at the BBC as a production assistant on such documentary series as "Arena", "Omnibus", "Vikings" and "The History of Ireland" Working with Alan Yentob and Mike Southon. After graduating from New England College he went to work in medical televsion for Massachusetts General Hospital and doing industrial tv with Group 5 Communications for such clients as AT&T and IBM. Then the 1984 Primaries came up and Luc worked for CBS News with Meredith Vierra and Dan Rather while covering Gary Hart. The CBS stint brought Luc another year of work in lighting and as a camera assistant on varioous news projects with Walter Cronkite and Bob Scheiffer. Switching gears Luc went to Hollywood and worked as a camera assistant on such movies as "Nightmare on Elm St 2 & 5", "LA Story", John Goodman's "The Babe", Gergory Hines "Tap", the docu series "The History of MGM", tv series "The Wonder Years" and "Rags to Riches", Visual F/X camera assistant on "Addams Family", "Predator 2", "Demolition Man", Arnold Swartzeneggers' "Last Action Hero" & "Erased", Michael Jackson's "Ghosts", Sylvestor Stallone's "Daylight", "Batman Forever" and "Executive Decision". Uprading himself Luc then became a cinematographer and has filmed close to 100 music videos. Predominately in the R&B field...for such artists as Jesse Powell, Norman Brown, Skeelo, Paperboy, Missy Elliot, The Temptations and Snoop Doggy Dog. He also filmed Tupac Shakurs last music video for the group Makevelli the nite before he was murdered. Since then Luc went to shoot commercials for the motorcyle "Ducati", Nike and domino's Pizza. Two movies that he has lensed were released in 2006. The Korean American film "Close Call" starring Jeff Fahey released thru Warner Brothers on DVD. Check Netflix for the film noir adventure in Costa Rica called "Tropix" and the love triangle gone to hell "Cowboy Junction" where wives should never trust their husbands on business trips to the desert. Also in 2006 Luc was the co-cinematographer for the first movie made for the internet. this groundbreaking project is titled "Soup of the Day"// www.soupmovie.com. The movie has tie ins to Myspace.com, Youtube.com and Missileblast.com. If you like music videos you can check the latest one that i shot for Renfey. Just check out her site in my freinds list or go to Renfey.com In other arenas Luc has shot close to 30 bellydance dvds for such talent as Suhaila Salimpour, Rania Bossonois and recently for Bellydance Superstar Jillina. These past projects in this particular world of dance has led to Luc preparing as a Producer/Director for the feature script "Thinly Veiled" .
