Poor Boy Rodger Band

About Me

The Poor Boy Rodger Blues Band is one of West-mans hardest working bands, with a unique style guaranteed to keep any crowd entertained. The band has got a hard rockin' drive to the songs they play and perform with the passion of players who love what they're doing. Formed in 2002 as an acoustic duo, playing mostly delta style blues it has since grown into a hard driving Chicago style blues band with the addition of the rhythm section from Brandon's rock band 18 Rabbit. In the past the Poor Boy Rodger Band has been busy warming up for bigger acts such as The Northern Pikes, Big Dave McLean, Jack Semple, Billy Joe Green, Tracy K, Brent Parkin and Pat Travers and Poor Boy also played for the Pan Am Games when held in Manitoba. The band is made up of Keith "Poor Boy" Rodger on lead and slide guitar, harmonica and vocals - Mark "Professor Peewee" Schroeder on lead and slide guitar and vocals - Ryan "Fuzzy" Felstead on bass - Darren "Dirt" Cherewayko on drums and Adrian "Bebop" Kuryliw on harp, sax and keys.
