That we don't have to pay for therapy later.I have been fighting Lyme Disease, & the Co Infections, Babesia, Bartenella, & Chlamydia Pneumonaie. (No not the Sexually transmitted kind.) It turns out I was Bitten By a Tick while traveling Cross Country doing support work for a Native American Run. That was 12 yrs ago. I had symptoms for many years but did not know why. I went from Doctor to Doctor & found no answers. Until 3 years ago I was finally diagnosed. It has been a long hard battle yet I still continue to fight. My Son who is 9 yrs old has been diagnosed with Congenital Lyme Encephalopathy & Babesia. My 4 yr old Daughter is also showing Clinical Signs of Lyme, Bartenella & Babesia. They both got it through me invitro. Contrary to Popular belief these Tick Borne Bacterias & Parasites can be passed from Mother to Child. Lyme Disease is a Multi Systemic Inflamatory Disease. With Various range of serious symptoms. Babesia, Bartenella are only two of the multitude of Co Infections you may get when bitten by a Tick.The Infectous Disease Society of America, & the Insurance Company are making it hard for the few educated Lyme Literate Doctors we have, to treat their patients. Doctors who are saving lives. They don't want it being diagnosed because of the money it takes to treat it. Getting a correct Diagnosis is difficult, because not many Doctors really understand or even know much about Lyme or these other Tick Borne Bacterias. They have been trained that Lyme Disease is rare & cured by only a few weeks of Antibiotics. They have followed Guidelines made up by Infectious Disease Society of America. Guidelines made by a group of men with financial interests held by several of the most powerful IDSA panelists. Lining there own money hungry pockets. Instead of helping the lives of People Suffering from this devestating illnesses. Hopefully now all that will change as a result of Connecticut Attorney General Blumenthal's antitrust investigation. Which has uncovered serious flaws in the Infectious Diseases Society of America's (IDSA) process for writing its 2006 Lyme disease guidelines and the IDSA has agreed to reassess them with the assistance of an outside arbiter.With Lyme Disease & these othe bacterial Diseases you are TRULY Sick & NO amount of wishing, or meditating is going to make it go away. You need to take your Health into your own hands & do anything to "Get your life back!!!!"Lyme Disease is extremely Complicated & Politically Controversial Disease. It Could Easily Effect Anyone.
