About Me

Click here to see my photo blog, which offers a look at life in southwest Texas.
I am happily married and have set up house in Brackettville, Texas. I'm not here for casual flirtations or to find someone to leave my husband for--so don't bother me if you are looking for internet romance.
Men In Black

by US Army Specialist Colby Buzzell
I thank all our men and women serving in this war. I believe in what you are doing, even if I am pissed off at President Bush most of the time and believe he has lost sight of the point of this war--if he ever knew what it was. I don't think we can win, I don't think we have to win. I think the point should be taking out the radicals and empowering the people so that they can take care of themselves. Peace-loving Islam needs to win this war against the Islamists and we can help them do it. I also think we ought to be shipping over teachers, not just soldiers. Regardless of what I think, however, I am grateful to live in a country that (finally) said, "Enough!" and is taking action against the atrocities being committed by Islamists.
Free Hugs
I stole this from Cynical Optimist, It made me feel all mushy and wonderful.
Love Actually
And speaking of love, I adore this clip from one of my favorite movies:

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People who are into Oneness, Tarot, Runes, Psychic Development, Ghost Hunting, Dream Interpretation, Hypnosis, all that crazy woo woo stuff! Yup, I needs me some Woo Woo friends. It's lonely here in Brackettville with so few Woo Woo people to grok Oneness with. Although I'm thankful for the few that are here.

I feel at one with everything when I'm out shooting pix. I love photography, so if you show me yours, then I'll show you mine!

Zoom Bump

Fortunately I read enough reviews on the Canon TC-DC58B 1.5x converter lens (think zoom lens) not to get my hopes up too high. I knew it would be little more than a "bump" for my camera's 12x zoom ca...
