Going through an Extended Purple Patch.

About Me

This scribe is a freelance writer and producer. I also work with bands as manager or publicist. Send your Plastic Fantastic (CDS, DVDs) to me at Alex Gunningham Management, 68 Old Brompton Road, South Kensington, London SW7 3LQ. ++++++++Love walking by the sea, along the riverbank and through the woods, over the hills and far away. One endeavours to enjoy every moment of every day. It's a very tasty world, y'know.

My Interests

Music, cinema, healthy exercise, novels, comics, food, drink, flora, fauna, life.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who's positive about popular culture and life. The glass should be half full, not half empty. Happy Snappers are welcome, too. See my other website @ http://www.flickr.com/photos/alex-gunningham/ for my photography gallery.

Music:

There's load of great stuff out there, new and old. See the cyberfriends list on the right for more examples.

Movies:

Siddhartha, Carry On Nurse, Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, Laurel & Hardy, Buster Keaton, the Lady Killers, Passport to Pimlico, the Party, Amsterdamned, Jungle Book, Pandora's Box,Battleship Potemkin, anything that has the Midas Touch of BILL MURRAY (happy now, Bill?).

Television:

There's one in the corner.

Books:

Hundreds of them. Reading is the Gymnasium for the Mind (or a small town in Berkshire). Everyone should read "The Final Programme" by Michael Moorcock (& all other Jerry Cornelius novels by MM). Jack Trevor Story's entire output.

Heroes:

Screaming Lord Sutch (RIP) whom I used to work with. John Peel (RIP) who mentored me and was a true friend, badly missed. John Toshack. My Dad (still brilliant at 84). JPR Williams. MA Nash (Glamorgan cricketer). Douglas Lyne (archdruid & friend). Iolo Morganwg. CroKodile Tears.
