So sings Swedish singer/songwriter Sofia Talvik on her upcoming single ‘It’s Just Love’ – destined to become THE summer anthem for defiant young lovers everywhere. A duet with one of the UKs top indie icons of the last 15 years - Bernard Butler - ‘It’s Just Love’ evokes memories of the last great ‘triumph over adversity’ duet; ‘Don’t Give Up’ by Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush. Sofia’s soft, delicate, almost fragile vocals soar over a powerful piano melody punctuated by soft percussion, gentle strings and the rarely heard resonance of an acoustic double bass.
‘It’s Just Love’ is taken from Sofia’s second album ‘Street of Dreams’. Written and produced entirely by Sofia herself, the album was released in January 2007 through Makaki Music.
Her debut album ‘Blue Moon’ was released in 2005 to high critical acclaim and quickly established Sofia as one of Swedens most promising young singer/songwriters.

With her debut album "Blue Moon", Sofia Talvik has added her name to Sweden's amazing list of top-rate singer-songwriters. After releasing a couple of demos and appearing on as many compilations, Sofia is at last ready to meet the demands of the fans she has amassed already. Singles "Ghosts" and "Stop" show how Sofia - together with her backing band The Tallboys - has an inspiring sound to her voice and a unfailing sense of melody. She's also not afraid to experiment, as the excellent Sophie Rimheden mix of her song "Beautiful Naked" shows.
