Yep.....anything with a soulful groove somewhere, however deeply hidden (was a Barry White fan as a teenager:-) Play various versions of house and chillout when out though. Influences: Am an old soul girl, went to 1st few Caister soul weekenders if I remember rightly :-) Moved onto be a really badly dressed New Romantic at some point in history, frequenting clubs such as The Blitz, Wag Club, The Beetroot, Mud Club etc etc, and was convinced I was soooo damned cool. There is even a really bad picture of me in one of the first few issues of The Face magazine. Then moved onto the good old illegal raves in the 80's such as Sunrise, Back to The Future, Biology, Amnesia and countless others than I can't remember! (someone remind me please). In amongst all that somewhere was Cooltan Arts Centre parties, Dirt Box Parties, Drum Club (I'll be adding to this when I remember, and I've got the eras the wrong way round as well. Oh yes, and used to put on my own parties here and there as well in various Barns, closed down clubs (Witham?) and woods. Then somewhere amongst all that mahem got introduced to the Squat Party scene via the Kinky Techno Parties, and somehow ended up DJing for Aardvark Sound System (accidentally if I remember rightly)at loads of squat parties all over the place. I now share I house with the Aardvark Sound System collective, and have done for approx 10 years now. So music is in my bones.....as is nightlife of all sorts :-)
Fave at the moment is Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events! But that could change next week
