Hello, I'm Sarah and I live near Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK. I'm a professional belly dancer and dance teacher (I'm qualified with the UKA and I have certification in American Tribal Style belly dance from Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellydance), and I am the director of Kismet Bellydance (Egyptian bellydance) and the Tribe of Kismet (American Tribal Style). We perform all over the place, both professionally and for charity and we can offer solo dancers as well as the whole troupe. I used to be a champion professional Latin American dancer, but I gave this up and turned to belly dance when i split up with my dance partner nearly 14 years ago.I've been married to my husband for 10 years and he is the best thing that ever happened to me :-)Below are some clips of The Tribe of Kismet performing at the Leigh Folk Festival. I'm very proud of these girls - there were five in the group that day for whom it was their first performance ever! And this was the first time my dance partner, Deana, and I performed our Govinda duet: I think its beautiful, though I do say so myself!!
