About Me

Myspace Layouts
Polstar Photography is Polly Yuill, a fine art, portrait and events photographer. She has been carrying out a project to capture the beauty in London's cemeteries through her fine art photography and this can be viewed at London Necropolis .Along with photographing sculptures, Polly has expanded into working with dancers, bands and models. She is available for work and can be contacted at: [email protected]
I'm not one to blow my own trumpet ... so I'll let others do it for me:
"I was quite nervous about posing for Polstar but she totally put me at ease. Her photography is beautiful and I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to pose for such a talented artist." - Lucy - Eceni Tribal Dance
"What a Woman! Polly is an amazingly energetic and vibrant photographer! Her work is spontaneous, fresh and exciting. She bubbles and enthuses and makes you feel soooooo amazing. She is also a fabulous, big hearted lady and it was wonderful to meet her." - Pauline - The Tribal Twisterhood
"To say that Polly is a photographer is to say that St Paul's Cathedral is a church, or that Everest is quite large. Which is to say that it's a factually accurate statement wholly missing the point. Polly photographs things from angles you or I would never think of, and she creates not just a photograph, but a story, a reflective moment in time, a piece of very satisfying art.Her work is always interesting, different and worth taking time to look at. Although I've never met her, I like to feel that I 'know' her through her work, and the person that consistently shines through is a kind, thoughtful person." - Phil Bradley
""A proper lady of ROCK..." - Minxy McNaughty - Artful

A piece of advice from Mr Stephen King ... out-take from Bodhaia shoot

I can't quote it exactly - but I remember in his book, 'on writing' Mr King wrote that you should put your writing away for at least 6 weeks - then come back to it with a less 'involved' eye.  Yo...
