About Me

Greetings to you.Welcome to my humble domain. A little word in your ear before you leap into Sir Ebeneezer's world, please do not attempt to contact me if you do not understand, or cannot handle "tongue in cheek" comments, rakishness and dodgy innuendos.I like to take the piss and wind people up (in the nicest possible way of course, tee hee), parodixically i can be charming, witty and modest, tee hee .So if this peculiar little theatre of dreams is not for you, so sorry old bean, a fond farewell. Where was i? oh yes, I am a self employed Family Historian, Genealogist and Researcher.I have worked as a genealogist and researcher for historical tv programmes (with a very serious head on), and have featured in BBC Wales family history programme called "Coming Home" (please stop) as Presenter, Genealogist and Researcher and have appeared with Michael York, Pam Ferris and Paul Daniels and helped research Susan Sarindon, Christopher Timothy and Petula Clark's family history.I also featured in the first series of "Family detectives" (though don't hold that against me)as a resident genealogist. I also appear time to time on Local radio giving red hot tips (at it again)and advice on researching family and local history (easy because i do not have to spell anything).I have tought Family History in Local Community Centres and in our Local Records Office.I am also trying desperatly to stop starting sentences with "I " all the time, lol, oh yes i write too, at present engaged in writing a small novel and dreaming up cartoon characters and stories for a comic book. If you are still with me(goodness you have patience). I am also like to study Victorian photographs and working on a project which will enable me to correctly date old photographs to within a few years of their origin. . So if you have any old photos particulary of Edwardian and Victorian origin and want them dated please let me know.I like and appreciate individual style which seems dreadfully lacking nowadays, particulary in peoples attire. It would appear that most people seem devoid of thinking for themselves, and let society dictate their entire lives, and this for me, expresses itself in the dullness and lack of imagination in most peoples apparrel. For goodness sake, dress up, make up and express yourself. Yes, i occasionally wear make up and have my own sense of what i like and dislike, for me it's fun and suits my sense of self. After all who writes these gender rules? In the words of Bob Marley, "if you know your history, then you know where i am coming from, and you would not have to ask me, who the hell do i think i am". All expected and accepted behavior, conventions etc change in time, so dear reader write your own, interpret and express your own reality transcend this nonsense. I would very much like to branch (can i escape the trees)out into designing prints for textiles and all types of clothing. I have now started printing out onto T shirts, as well as embellishing and decorating suit jackets. I hope to be able to start selling them soon over the interent. I also sell mounted designs, treescapes and landscapes on www.silvaticus.co.uk. Some of my designs are taken originally from my surrounding countryside, but some are by serious design planning and specially adapted photoshoots.I like to involve myself with making new designs and new ways of presenting designs particualry on clothing. I also do relief work in the local library, yes relief in the racking(have it your way). Urmm oh yes i also have a small indoor plants business(no no not those type, moi? perish the thought). If i was ever to be knighted for anything, it would be to services to the Brewing industry and the licensing trade (tee hee), though i am trying to be a little bit more reserved nowadays (yes i know it depends on your comparison). I live in Carmarthenshire, Wales, and have written articles for "Local Nature" page,http://www.llandeilo.org/),local and county magazines on trees, genealogy and victorian photographs, oh am currently engaged in finishing off an article on the history of trees and woodlands in Carmarthenshire for the Carmarthenshire Antiquarian Society . I am originally from Thame in Oxfordshire, but i have deep roots in England, Wales and Ireland. .. pet friendly hotels myspace codes myspace layoutsMyspace Layouts Florists Myspace Video Codes

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

..............Anyone with shared interests, anyone who is interesting, genuine people who do not want another postage stamp on their profile. On the whole i like people with a sense of humour, artists, creative people, anybody is not to far up their own .... . I rarely add people who i do not exchange a couple of messages with first, it's a question of manners really, tee hee.Oh yes and nobody to demanding, it just simply won't do.I am quite proud of my friends I have made here and i like showing them ( my most attentive, witty and caring maties)that they mean something to me .Oh, one more thing,I do believe people (most of them anyway)on "my space" are part of the "real world", real people, and I treat them accordingly, I have made "real" friends here and I think "cyber life" is as much part of "real life", as breathing is, it is not a seperate reality.
