About Me

Hello to all at my space, i'm a massive music fan looking for other like minded fun people, i love going to gigs mostly in London and seeing indie guitar groups i often see bands at small venues some of the bands i've seen have made it big i prefer small venues and some festivals. Saw Sultans Of Ping at Rayleigh in Essex around 1992 and they were supported by a band called Radiohead who went on to do 'quite' well. I live in Essex which only has about 1 or 2 live music venues left as it now only seems to cater for brain dead boy racer types which is why in the last year or so i have started to venture out to London a lot more. I'm laid back and easy going (sometimes a little scatty after some beer or red wine), and thought i'd try my space as most friends i hang out with live miles away and hate going out in my local area because it's complete shite, but sometimes go to Colchester with a friend who plays in a band who have also joined My Space. Some Sundays i go out to car boot sales to buy, sell or both, i often stall out at Wickford or Borham. I sometimes go to Chinnerys in Southend depending on who plays down there. I play bass guitar a little but not in a band, but i joined a mates band years ago and when i left the guy who took my place later joined brit pop band Menswear. Also did some band promoting a few years ago put on a John Otway gig which was great fun. Recently jumped on stage and sang a bit with The Rakes at a gig they did in Hoxton, that was down to a fair few beers i think! :-) :-) :-)
