This is such a summery, feel-good record, one of those you could play and sing along to all day. It is unashamed British pop punk at is finest – no political undercurrent or underlying anger, just a cracking little vocal over some nifty bar chords. ‘Sometimes I Rock Sometimes I Roll’ sounds more than a little like Squeeze at their most fluent, and akin to current punk-indie peddlers The Rakes, except with slightly more seasonal cheer.
