Toledo Filmmakers

Our Mission Statement:

Toledo Filmmakers is an organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the local filmmaking community, both amateur and professional. We profess to foster all aspects of filmmaking and to have fun doing it.

Our Goal Statement:

The Toledo Filmmakers express their intentions, immediate and future, in the following goals.

We will establish a fundraising process to support the financial needs of the film community.
We will be an inexpensive source of equipment for our members.
We will establish ourselves as a fiscal sponsor to encourage solicitation of funds by individuals in support of film projects.
We will provide grant writing resources to film entrepreneurs.
We will provide grants to filmmakers.
We will provide a forum for discussion of events and issues of consequence to the local filmmaking community.
We will maintain a website for the purpose of encouraging and supporting the local filmmaking community and to promote public awareness of our offerings.
We will collaborate with local groups and organizations where their goals and interests converge with our own.
We will acquire space in which to provide services and activities.
We will develop and provide to the public, as well as our membership, learning opportunities in the area of our interests.
