Are you unsafe?

About Me

Initially, the term I defined as "UnSAFE" in UnSAFE Film Office way back in the Summer of 2003 was meant as an anagram for United Screenwriters, Artists and Filmmakers Everywhere. Hokey I know, but it’s Michigan and we loves it hokey as hell around here. So, although UFO still retains that spirit of collaboration, it’s also come to mean something more personal to myself over time within this odd microcosm of artistic expression known as Microcinema . "Are you unsafe?" has become this mantra for me about performing one’s own gut check.
Are you doing your best in expressing a story from page to screen? Are you doing your best by everyone around you and putting in at least 100% towards the final cinematic result? Are you doing anything at all? Or is life just slipping by and making you a distant memory in it’s wake. "Are you unsafe?" is NOT about throwing yourself into harms way and risking the safety and welfare of others in order to "just do whatever it takes to make this movie!" because at the end of the day, filmmaking - above all else - is a social art.
So ask yourself today these questions: Have you got something you want to contribute? Do you have something you want say? What’s stopping you then?
Are you unsafe?

My Interests

To live a faithful life.

I'd like to meet:

Hi, how are you today friends, family, fans and fellow filmmakers? What’s the good word?

I rotate the "Top Friends" to promote my own current and upcoming projects as well as those of MySpace friends. So on a semi-regular basis these will change around in no particular order. If you have a project you’d like to have promoted for awhile in this section, please feel free to drop a note, OK? It’s all about promotion and networking here on MySpace for me, folks. Not whether or not I "like" you any better or less.

Feel free to check out my website at UnSAFE Film Office for the latest information on UFO. God bless!

"Television can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box."
