The Red Labels are a four piece alternative indie punk band from north Dublin who in the past few months have managed to capture the ears and imagination of music fans throughout the city and beyond.
The band has been together for less than a year but they are well on their way to becoming one of Dublin’s top acts. With a string of captivating live shows under their belt, The Red Labels, (Dean Regan – vocals/guitars, Richie Martin – vocals/bass, Paul McKenna – guitars, and Conor Mcgivern - drums) have just finished recording their demo that features tracks “Fire†and “All Nightâ€. Both these songs have been attracting huge attention from fans and critics alike.
Their live performances are bursting with energy. With a concrete rhythm section, insanely catchy bass lines, punchy lead and rhythm guitars and two superbly distinct and different vocals, unsurprisingly, The Red Labels have a hectic few months ahead!
Having just finished a hectic summer of gigs, which saw them headlining Whelan’s of Wexford street, winning The JD Sets in Dublin’s Crawdaddy in July, and playing their debut gig in London’s Soho the following month, The Red Labels are well on their way to proving they are a band that are here to stay. .

The Red Labels have been hopping from one Dublin venue to another in recent weeks and this week is no exception. Headlining in Whelans of Wexford Street last night these guys proved their here to stay. Playing to a modest Wednesday night crowd not even the fence-hangers could resist their poignant red-letter set. Touching on an early 80's punk vibe with a genuinely superb vocal aptitude and a truly underived sound all of their own.

THE RED LABELS have enough punch to keep Queens Of The Stone Age fans happy but their vocal dexterity gives them a very definite edge, likened to a grunge era Ramones.
