About Me

Roadrunner are a no nonsense rock outfit who write real songs instead of the all too familiar hook-based pop-rock. Instead Roadrunner find their inspiration from the classic blues rock sound of past generations, 90s Britpop and some of the better bands and artists of today. This range of influences combined with honest, strong vocals and powerful music creates a sound which is refreshing on what can seem like a stale music scene. Roadrunner show great potential already having played in some of Dublins best venues including The Village, Whelans, Crawdaddy, The Voodoo Lounge, and Radio City. The band were also hand picked to appear on a compliation CD, Ourspace, put together by the Dun Laoghaire College of Further Education. This album reached number 5 in the Irish charts with Roadrunner's track "Sparks" noted as a "stand out track" by Jackie Hayden in Hotpress magazine. Currently concentrating on songwriting and perfecting their live show expect much excitement in the near future.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
