BIOGRAPHY...
IDENTITY PARADE: with their own unique blend of raw, tasteful, upbeat and energetic songs with catchy melodies are creating a new refreshing sound and vibe. The band have played alongside; Republic Of Loose, The Blizzards and have played venues such as Whelans, Temple Bar Music Centre, Vicar Street, Earwig Tuam Arts Festival alongside The Coronas and have also played the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool, building a reputation as an exciting live act attracting bigger crowds on their musical journey.
Identity Parade have spent most of 2008 recording their debut album. A single is due for release in april/may on downloadmusic.ie and more singles with a summer/autumn album release will follow. The album has just been completed by the bands Producer John Turps in Dublin @ Asylum Studios with mixing Engineer and Producer Liam Mulvaney of Dublin band The Radio, (Greys Anatomy, Best of Series Soundtrack).
The album project has been recorded on location at Bermingham House in Tuam Co Galway, a safe haven for Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull in the late 60..s, Asylum Studios and 147 studios in Dublin.

Identity Parade got to headline at the first CPU chart gig in Whelan's. From once the band turned on the ignition to a finely tuned set, the crowd loved it. I had not heard their music before but became a fan after the first few songs. A Dublin five piece, they have a fantastic, energetic, refreshingly new, honest and creative music. The chorus attracted people walking by the Whelans door. Top marks!

Identity Parade who topped the CPU online charts quickly came across as a well established act. They had that professional showman edge with no dragged-out inter-song time wasting. They proved worthy of the headline slot. Musically they reminded me of a mixture of the best of my favourite passionate most respected bands in the global business. Having that laid back energy and effortlessly cool and powerfull new rock/pop sound, they put out a solid set.
