WELCOME TO DUKESVILLE!

About Me

Still Rockin' After All These Years.
When I have a few beers I tend to do silly things like try and sing and annoy my friends.

I have several instruments which I'm still learning to play, they include a Double Bass, an Epiphone Joe Pass Semi Acoustic Guitar, a Clarinet (I tried to play at school) and a Mandolin (I was heavily into reading Captin Correlli's Mandolin at the time). I'm married to the very lovely and sexy and very intelligent Fi. At present I'm looking for work after a good few years in Royal Mail hopefully in the IT field. I love to travel (when employed) and get to see Rockabilly and Country bands in the USA. Our honeymoon was spent travelling the USA. New York, Nashville, Lynchburg (we had to thank Jack for some cool brew) Memphis, New Orleans (in time for Mardi Gras), Austin, Llano and Fort Worth!
With Wayne(the train)Hancock, Babes Bar and Grill, 6th St, Austin, Texas, September 1994.

My main interest in my life, the lovely Fifi

I listened to my dad's Johnny Cash records as I was growing up in the 60's, I was hooked from the start

My Interests

50's Style Clothes and Music.
I love the rockin' weekenders, at home and abroad, although I've not been abroad for a while.
I can't wait for the next Rockabilly Rave...

MISS RUBY ANN

I'd like to meet:

I like meeting new friends I've met at all the Rockin' gigs and ... But I'd have say I love to meet, talk and have a beer with Ray Campi Wanda Jackson and Bernie Dexter. Now that would be...Cool!

I would have loved to have met Elvis (pre 56), Sam Philips, Buddy Holly, Tooter Boatman (but not when he was a bouncer), Charlie Feathers, Warren Smith (I Got Love If You Want It - is about as cool as it gets) and Hank Williams snr. I almost met Billy Fury (the best British Rockabilly) at the Fairfield Halls Croydon. It still hurts.

The bar at Hemsby in the very early morning hours. Peter, Ross, Duke and Nick and Jodi, the 'Cool Couple' from New York.
We all had a blast drinking...
