The FretTones are a 4 piece rockin band playing authentic style rockabilly.
Keith Turner on lead vocals
Martin Barret lead guitar and Alan McCubbin on upright bass.
we dont have a full time drummer at this time.
We got together early january 2007 over a few beers at a rockin club in Edinburgh (spiders web).
Alan who played bass for the accelarators had not played for a bit and was getting itchy feet.
Myself and Alan asked Martin who currently plays with
The Tennessee Hot Shots if he was up for playing guitar for us and of course he said yes. Alan came up with the name the FretTones so that was us ready to rocknroll.
So far we have played a few gigs nothing fancy but its a start so watch this space we will be hitting a town near you.
We have been booked to play the Rockabilly Rave this year and we are very much looking forward to that. We are hoping to have our first cd out for the Rave if all goes well .The FretTones will see you around somewhere.
