Due to popular demand The Preacher AKA Simon now has a Myspace.
I do hope you like all the music I play. I hope
to put some DJ sets up on the old tape desks for you all to listen to on your Hillbilly Radio, I am going to have a few different tape decks up for you music lovers.
I am also a Show Winner Custom Bike builder / Hotrod builder - Member of the Mishifts Car Club.
In the late 80s I became a Pro Skateboarder and won the world championships in Stand up downhill a few times, I also was on the BBC Record Breakers TV show and was the first to break a long standing record of 12 years held by John Hutson of Santa Cruz, so many people had tried to break this record and I was lucky to be the one to do so.
I was gunning for victory. Thanks to people like Roger Hickey, Beau Brown, Jerry Madrid, Martin Sweeney. I was one of only three UK World Champions in UK skateboard history - Tim Levis slalom 70's - Bod Boyle Ramp 80's. .

The first clubs I used to go to, were Mod and Ska club's Gaz's Studio 21 - 1979 (a member of The Viceroy Scooter Club of London and known as Simon Cento) in 1979, I was also a DJ at the time - attended clubs run by Ady Crosdale 6Ts, Eddie Piller, Ray Patriotic - I used to run the club at the Albany Gt Portland Street with Dick Coombes playing 60's Soul, Northern Soul and Beat before the all nighters at the 100 Club London - I went to the later years of Wigan Casino (with people like Keb Darge) at the same time, WEnt to clubs in London such as the Dirtbox and the Mud Club. I started to listen to the B sides of a lot of 45's and I was hooked by the beating rhythm of the TomToms Rockin 1980 - I went to Rockin clubs of the time.
I have always been into different types of music including Rockin music, since the early 80's and was a regular
attendee to rockin dooooos in and around London such as Bumbles, Bobby Soxs, Dingwalls, The Phoenix,
The Russell Arms, Valentino's, Shades, The Fox, The Electric Ballroom, Silks,
Notre Dam, Camden Working Men's club and The Boston when Mouse used to run it.
I ran a club way back called "Fever from the South" during the same time as
the early Dingwalls doooos.
I always remember getting totally drunk on a Saturday afternoon at Dingwalls
- bottles of Beck's by the dozen with Ian and Belfast Brian. I got asked the other day "How did you get into the Rockin scene" for those who did not read the above - via Northern Soul B sides - the cross over from Beach music to Rocking is amazing.
I have promoted and DJ ed at a lot of clubs over the past 27 years from 60's Soul beat, Northern Soul, Rockin sounds, 60/70 Funk 45's - One of the original Funk 45 DJs in London 89, like my m8 Russ K - at the time we were the only two playing 60/70s Funk 45's - starting in late 80's. One of the starters of the Funkin Pussy - London 91 - Dazed and Confused Parties.
My name was always a regular in Time Out Magazine - ID Magazine in the 1980's and 1990's - playing international was also part of the Job mainly in the US and Europe.
Leave my wife alone at the WAG Club London just to mention one.
I am now playing all the music I love again thanks to some great friends and promoters. Thanks to you all!So if you need a DJ for a Club, Weekender, Party - drop me a line.
