Well lets talk about who I have met: Stanley.... saved from ACC, of course. Pebbles... who we saved, right BEFORE she was about to enter ACC. SPIRIT!!!! Saved from nyc acc after being lucky enough to get "lost" in the system and avoid being killed: Jenny, saved by her determined foster mom, has been a handful, but worth it: May found a home: Myspace and Diana saved this doggie, emma: Slim was sad and depressed and seemed to be TWICE his age when I found him in his damp cage... he is finally in the country looking his age! Mr Belvedere, also on the kill list, I just had to save. His owner died in a fire that he survived. He is currently waiting for his home: Duke was used as bait in dog fighting, but remained sweet somehow (although we had to work on his manners). The animals desperately need homes, as well walking and comfort during their stay. If you can't take in an animal, you will be surprised at what a difference you can make just by getting to know them and their personalities. This way, you can speak to adopters about the animals, and greatly increase their chances of finding homes. You will be shocked at how loving, safe and beautiful these dogs/cats (and even bunnies!) are. They just need a chance... and a little bit of love. They will certainly do the same for you! SPAY AND NEUTER--- there are too many unwanted animals dying every day, so dont allow more helpless animals to be born (and stop the BREEDING)!
