About Me

About meLayout made byMy Name is Aenad... I am "OneVoice". My voice represents an adopted Polar Bear. I live in the far north and come to you now at a time that we are all in need. Something is terribly wrong, and we are depending on The Humans to fix it. Our Homes are disappearing, and the Ice is melting away. We are running out of Food and Places to Live. Many of us have already died, and we don't understand why. Please help us! For this is why I've come to you, for a Human is My Voice, but many many others need a voice as well.... so I come to You, and ask you.... to be "One Voice". For if each Human spoke in One Voice for One Animal... We would be in hope of being heard... and maybe of being saved. But this is our Fear!! Why do you Humans treat us so. We live so very far apart, and we mean you no harm. Why do you trap us, cage us, and kill us??? We are trying so hard just to survive, it has to stop... We need more voices so that every animal can have "One Voice" to be heard.

My Interests

To create a profile where everyone can read and learn how we can save our planet, our wildlife, and our futures. Where organizations of all walks can be represented as an information source to get involved, to learn, and to find ways to help. And for more people to become a Voice. We are Happy to post any banners or blogs as a way to provide an outreach. And to get people interested in becoming "OneVoiceOurVoice"... Our Planets Wildlife needs voices to speak up and to help save them... they can't tell us when their hurt, starving, being abused, have no place to live, and they can't ask for our help. It's time for us to wake up the world, and make people aware that its time to do something about it!!Horses are a Beautiful and Majestic Creature. They deserve a Voice. The numbers of wild horses are dwendling, not only due to lack of habitat, but from slaughter. Below are some Awesome Friends who can give you information on ways to Save Our Horses.http://www.myspace.com/savethemustangshttp://www.mysp ace.com/nyhrshttp://www.myspace.com/thehealingbarnhttp://www .myspace.com/tinyhoovesfoalrescue

I'd like to meet:

Any Human... Kind of Heart, Caring of Nature, Willing to Step up to Help Save Our World. A Human who would lend their "One Voice" to one of us. Those who have already done much to aid the problem of Global Warming. To meet someone who would rather look at the forests, fields, mountains, streams, oceans, and glaciers.... rather than another building or roadway. To meet those who value the beauty of nature, and value of life... even the non-human ones.OneVoiceOurVoice salutes The Rocky Mountain Wildlife Conservation Center for all their hard work and dedication to save Our Planets Wildlife and Give them a Voice!!~Click on the Banner to visit their profile~

For over 26 years The Wild Animal Sanctuary has been rescuing Captive Wildlife across the US. The Sanctuary is home to over 155 wild animals including Lions, Bears, Tigers, Wolves, Mountain Lions, Leopards & Small Cats that live on 140 acres of rolling grassland just outside of Denver, Colorado. The Animals are rescued from private owners who keep them as pets, commercially exploit them in circuses & roadside attractions, & bred them over & over, just to sell their cubs for profit. There are about 30,000 animals in the US that are in this condition. They arrive emaciated, usually with urine burns on their feet (result of walking in their own urine & feces), fluid-filled joints (from living in concrete cages), bone deformities (from poor nutrition), & facial deformities from abuse.

They come to a place where they have spacious indoor/outdoor habitats, the best quality food available, plenty of time to run, play & swim, with lots of love & affection!
The Wild Animal Sanctuary has been in an ongoing financial crisis. (please read owner & founder, Pat Craigs letter on myspace profile). It costs up to $17,000/week to care for all our animals! Please support the Sanctuary in any way that you can, either financially or by spreading the word. Please check blog postings on the profile & in group Animal Sanctuaries, Rescues & Zoos for updates. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to send an e-mail or instant message! We need funding to keep its animals alive so another healthy animal, deserving of life, is not put to death.

WLT works to:protect natural ecosystems and conserve their biodiversity, with emphasis on threatened habitats and endangered species; develop partnerships with and engage support and commitment among the people who live in our project areas; raise awareness of the need for conservation. The priority of The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary is the care of our residents. Frankly, it's our sole reason for existence. The educational programs and corporate events are merely ways to expose the public to the situation regarding the cats in the wild, and to raise funds to take care of the animals. This is a twenty-four hour a day job, seven days a week. And willingly and lovingly done so. The care given our cats is meticulous, thorough, and more comprehensive than the care most people give their pets. The care is continuous, repetitive, and ongoing - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Historically, the Florida panther ranged throughout the southeastern United States. However, following years of persecution and habitat loss, there are about 80 Florida panthers occupying only 5 percent of their historic range. With current conservation and scientific efforts underway, the Florida panther has a fighting chance at survival. What is Big Cat Rescue? Big Cat Rescue, a non profit educational sanctuary, is devoted to rescuing and providing a permanent home for exotic (i.e. wild, not domestic) cats who have been abused, abandoned, bred to be pets, retired from performing acts, or saved from being slaughtered for fur coats, and to educating the public about these animals and the issues facing them in captivity and in the wild. All of our animals are registered with the International Species Information System (ISIS). And we do not breed any of the cats.
