Drummer for Full Stack

About Me

I am the host of METALKAST!I am a drummer in a band called Full Stack. www.fullstackrock.comBrief History about me: -Bands I played in from 1988 1993: Power Metal Bands Malicious Intent, Sentinel, Domain, Chaos Warband, and hard rock/rock bands Aleph-Zain, Sweet Cheater, and Jealous. -In 1989 I worked for R.I.M.s Purecussion in the factory and Artist Relations. -In 1990 I became a Representative for Abel Stix in Artist Relations and Sales. -In 1992 I took a break from drumming because I seemed to meet up with almost every moron that existed. Hey, if it could be a bad decision, I made it. -In 1993 I followed my dream since I was 14 years old to start a drum company. -In 1995 I completed school and became a Mechanical Designer who specialized in free from, ergonomic, and conceptual design for products. -In 1997 I was forced to shut down my business due to partner problems, liquidated and paid investors back. In this same time frame I joined a long time friends (Dave Conroy) band for about six months, the year following I humiliated myself by auditioning for another awesome local band, playing very poorly after not playing since 1992. -In 2000 I got the itch to play seriously again, started a band that fell apart due to chemicals and egos. But it did enough to fuel my interests in playing. -In 2004 I purchased a Neil Peart instructional video where he described that he started over from almost scratch to improve his playing. I thought I should try this and searched to play in a band ever since. In 2004 I married the woman of my dreams and she has been very supportive of me playing again. What else can you ask for, shes intelligent and beautiful too (gotta kiss a little butt here). -In the fall of 2005 I auditioned for Full Stack, got the gig and have been blessed by being able to play with not only some of the best players I have played with, but you cant ask for a better bunch of guys. Last year I broadened my career to Industrial Technical Designer/Graphic Designer which includes video production, animation, and photo work, plus a ton of boring things too. Over the years I have also been involved with product development for some other drum companies as well as a product tester from time to time. I plan to re-start my drum business within the next few years. Keep the dream alive, right! Well thats me in a nutshell (Hey, how did I get in this bloody nutshell?) over the last 18 years. I always have my hands involved with different things, so there should be more later. If there is nothing else to be said my life experiences are that of Thomas Edisons: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." Perseverance will pay off and youre never too old to rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sompin' NEW, METALKAST and soon Rög's Talkin' Drumz Podcast!Get our new CD Now!!
