Hey there people im just another drummer, to be fair nothing to do with paiste and not even a very special drummer, but I am a cymbal freak and a dedicated follower of All Things Paiste.
Paiste are by far and away the greatest cymbal producers in the world we all know this after all we all would be using them if we had the opportunity to (Yes, maybe the most expensive but WELL worth it.)
Unlike other cymbal brands Paistes are consistent, and are consistently the best sounding cymbal in any class. Whilst the 101s / 102s are fantastic introduction to the world of paiste, the PST (or 502s as they should be known) are a fantastic midrange cymbal and as we all know the sig / 2002 / RUDE and giant beats of this world are unmistakable with the sound and shimmer of god own cymbals
Paiste are also pushing the boundaries of cymbals if not with sound edge hi-hats (who did you think Zildjian copied?) then with the fantastic evolution of the punk / heavy metal rude cymbals.
We use them even though they are not the most endorsed cymbals, or that our favourite drummer uses them [Bonham and alike excepted] but because they are just simply the best poetry on a boom arm.
