Album cover Rough 'n Gritty

Take a power trio with two great singers, pour in a bunch of blues, a big dose of rock, a pinch of soul and a rock & roll attitude and you get Black Tops debut album Rough ‘n Gritty. Almost an hour worth of originals; fourteen catchy blues rock songs from a thumping, stomping blues rock band. Mick Hup, Anne-Maarten “Hills” van Heuvelen and Theo Thumper toured with (amongst others) Tracy Bonham, Noel Redding and T-Model Ford before they got together as Black Top and recorded Rough ‘n Gritty. A must have for everybody who likes beer, motorcycles, big cars, leather jackets, blue jeans and, more beer. Rough ‘n Gritty by Black Top. Try it, you’ll like it!
