What can I say - life's been good so far.
Trying to squeeze every bit of it I can from each day, take nothing for granted, treat people with respect and dignity, kiss my wife and hug my kids, rock 'n roll all night and party every day (O.K., I didn't actually write that last part, but you get the message). I've been so fortunate to grow up during the great music of the 70s, party like a wild-man during the 80s, and create some beautiful children during the 90s. I even graduated from college with honors and a degree in Computer Science/Engineering in 2000.
Got to see Van Halen with David Lee Roth on their first tour ('78), one of Led Zeppelin's last shows in 1979, AC/DC with Bon Scott, the list goes on. Handed out flyers and rocked the Sunset Strip in Hollywood all during the Metal years ('84-'89), got drunk at the Cathouse and the Rainbow too many times to count, and met my wife at the Roxy through an adult film star friend. Played rock and roll my whole life, signed to Capitol Records, made videos, was on MTV, and got to open up for my idols, KISS for 30 shows at packed arenas.
So many great times - wouldn't change a single day and cherished every moment. ...and guess what - it ain't over yet and the best is still to come. So much livin' left to do!
