THE PLAYERS
TOAST on drums comes from a long road history in the music biz. He grew up in Lake Tahoe, CA. and has gone on to work with quite a few legends over the years worldwide. Toast and Matt have played together off and on for the last 15 years.
SERAFINI on bass is originally from PA but is a staple in the Arizona music scene. He’s a ripping mountain biker and has been on tour for the last 12 years with several very well known indie bands. He joined the band to work on his snowboarding skills.
FLANNERY is southern , has a genius IQ and loves the color black , is chairman of www.goodpeeps.com club, digs science , sleeps late, rides motocross and plays nearly every instrument he touches well….very well.
MATT is a professional snow skier on the Völkl/Marker International Team who occasionally likes to sing….he formed the band to work on his electric guitar skills.
WHAT IS THE ROCK AND RIDE SHOW?
Originally just a concept to find a way to play rock shows at night to afford traveling around to ski resorts or surf breaks by day in search of deep powder, face shots, good single track mtn biking, nice waves and visiting friends… It has since then turned into a pretty unique visual event mixing every kind of extreme sports genre with rock and roll. WHO IS UNCLE VERN?
U.V. has 9 fingers and handles things for the band … The term ”things” has an extremely broad meaning and should be used loosely.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The band feels confident that they can become huge in Japan but as a stepping stone they will tour Europe performing at Extreme Sports film premieres, play as many shows at alternative sports events stateside and release an album in the fall. They all want to play as many surfing/beach events as humanly possible….. winter outdoor stages in the snow have proven to piss off the instruments…… see photos
THE TOUR BUS
Currently owned by Uncle Vern…the bus is nicknamed “Almost Famous”. Actually that’s a lie… currently owned by the bank! We are tring to make the bus more green friendly… Bio beer, Bio wine and ethanol.
MUSIC PRODUCTION
The sound has been worked by several world class producers such as Bob Marlette (Saliva, Seether, Black Sabbath and Shinedown ), Jorn Kachelriess from Munich, Germany (debut Reardon album, film soundtracks, Bent Not Broken ) and latest Emo Guru Jamie Woolford from Tempe, Az ( Gin Blossoms, Let Go, The Stereo, Sleep Walk a Robot ) We are currently working on music soundtracks for films and TV such as www.nuitdelaglisse.com while off the road.
