I'm a Saints fan, and PROUD of it!

About Me

I was the drummer for a popular CNY band from 1999 to 2005, but the band decided to call it quits after 6 years. It was a good run, and we got to do some cool things, so it wasn't all bad.I started playing at an early age, and am self taught. It wasn't long before I found myself playing the local club scene, which is where I have spent most of my career.I started my on stage career in a defunct version of a local country band called Six Pack. From there I went on to play for Fridays Child. The original lineup consisted of Dave Clark, AKA Clarkie, Dickie Reome, a 16 year old guitar wiz, and Billy Wetheral, AKA Rockit Billy. Doug Dann, Probably the best bass player I have ever worked with, soon took Billy's place in the band, and we rocked for a couple of years until one of the band member's personal problems forced us to call it quits. From there I went on to play for several different bands, Marco's Nightmare, with guitar virtuoso Paul Marcos, Revolving Door, Nasty Habit, No Reason, and Tailor Made.I am currenty on hiatus, but hope to find myself playing, and recording, again. For now, I'll just enjoy skiing and playing hockey in the winter months, and camping in the summer...

My Interests

Muscle cars, skiing, camping, and hockey, and of course music.

I'd like to meet:

Hmmm, I have met quite a few drum heroes already, but would some day like to meet Neil Peart. This man amazes me to no end. It's almost as if he has three arms at times! Another drummer I would like to meet is Mike Portnoy. He is another drummer who totally amazes me! I'd love to see both of these guys on tour together!I met Robert Sweet when Stryper played in Poughkeepsie NY a couple of years back, and what a cool dude he was! He is a fan of old Mopars, he is building a GTX, so I had a GTX shirt made for him, and gave it to him at the show. Not only is Robert a great drummer, and a great guy, he's also a Mopar man. Enough said!I also got to meet Bobby Jarzombek and Mike Terrana. They both used my kit to record a CD with John West. They are both AMAZING drummers, and VERY cool guys! If you are a drummer, you should should checkout Bobby's new DVD, Performance and Technique, it's off the wall! Even if you aren't a drummer, you should check it out anyway!Other drummers I met are Jeff Plate of Savatage and TSO, and Gary Holland of Great White. Both guys are great drummers, and very nice guys.

Music:

Melodic 80's metal is what I listen to, and Stryper is my favorite band from the 80's. I also like progressive rock, Dream Theater, Rush, Kamelot, Royal Hunt, and bands like that. I am a drummer so if a band has a kickin drummer, I am into them.
This is a KICK ASS NEW BAND that I love - Kamelot. Check out this video:

Books:

Not much of a reader, but do read from time to time.

Heroes:

My biggest hero is my son. He's an infantry soldier in the United States Army, and thinks nothing of putting his life on the line to protect people he doesn't even know.
