Hey, thanks for stopping by....watch the videos!

About Me

I'm just an old, tired person who worked with Robby Goo way back in 1987. ;-) That is how I ended up on MySpace - by visiting Robby's Lobby! There is something I need to mention here, because I don't want anyone to be offended sometwhere down the line. Regarding friends requests...please note that the friends I approved on here are either people I admire, friends I've known a long time, relatives, or new people I've met online that I agree with (with regards to their views). In other words, I am not on MySpace to meet a zillion people (or try to appear to be really popular) - rather, I am on here to keep in contact with some relatives and friends, and to chat about topics that interest me. So...if I don't add you...I'm not being snotty...I am just really busy working lots of jobs (usually 3 to 4 jobs at a time, and one is FULL time) and do not have time to interact with lots of people all the time! Sorry....!

My dog, Wookie has his own "MySpace" account, but not on here. He is on a doggie version of MySpace...called DOGSTER.com. His "sister" Weimai (Amy) is on there, too (even though she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in 2005 at the age of 14). Check out their profiles:..

My Interests

I have MANY interests, ESPECIALLY music...and speaking of which, one of my FAVE interests is the iGuitar! If you have not played one, I would seek one out and try it out. Visit the iGuitar web site at:
http://www.iGuitar.com
They ROCK!

I'd like to meet:

No-one, and everyone!!

Music:

I like almost ALL genres.

One of my favorite central NY bands is EMERALD CITY. They ROCK. Gary Holland (formerly of Great White, and a heckuva nice guy) is their drummer. WATCH THIS VIDEO and visit their MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/emeraldcityrocks to hear the studio version of the song - it's one of my new fave songs. These guys should be signed. I'd buy a CD from them, that is for sure!

If you want to hear some clips of the last band I was in (we were called Nasty Habit )...here they are (warning - it might take a while to download the files before they play):
(You've Got) Another Thing Coming
Rock and Roll All Nite
Crazy Train
Lights (that's me singing)
Adam's Apple
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Hit Me With Your Best Shot (yup, me again)
We played shows all over NY and Northern PA from 1999 - 2005, including playing for the NASCAR race crowds in Watkins Glen in both 2004 and 2005.
If you wonder what I've been listening to lately, here is a little sample of my most recent iTunes playlist, which I keep track of on Last.fm - click the chart to see more of the cheesy (and not-so-cheesy..and sometimes rather old or obscure) music I am fond of listening to:

You should get your OWN Last.fm account, then I can see what YOU are listening to!
Lastly, since you asked...here are the bands I've been in since 1980 (there may be more, but these are the ones I distinctly remember):
The Heartbeats (Cortland, NY)
Onnex, which then became Exit (Cortland, NY)
Secret Service (Mansfield, PA)
JR Mangan Band (Mansfield, PA)
Leaky Sneakers (Mansfield, PA)
5% (Mansfield, PA)
X-calibur (Mansfield, PA)
SSDD (Cortland, NY)
Movin' Violations (Ithaca/Cortland, NY)
Dreamer (Cortland, NY)
Revolving Door (Ithaca/Cortland, NY)
Excalibur - the Stafford Chevrolet band (Dryden, NY)
Nasty Habit (Cortland, NY)
and now... Blue Monday (Cortland, NY)

Movies:

Mostly comedies, because everyone should spend more time laughing. But I also love the movie Reckless with Aidan Quinn and Daryl Hannah.

Television:

I love almost ALL of the OLD shows....late 60's, early 70's stuff. Cheesy, but good. And I wish the so-called MUSIC channels would go back to playing MUSIC!

Books:

I am an AVID reader (total book geek)....I can read a novel in about a day (two if I am diligent). Taking me into a bookstore or a library is bad idea unless you want to lose a few hours.

Heroes:

Anyone defending my freedom, but especially my stepson, Jeremy, who is in the Army's Infantry. GOD BLESS OUR MILITARY AND GOD BLESS THE USA!!

My Blog
