Thanks for visiting!Wisdom's Call was formed on June 17th, 2006. At that time, the band began working on a couple of originals and some cover tunes to "get started," but it wasn't long until they decided to just work on all original music.Just 5 weeks after the band was formed, on July 29th 2006, Wisdom's Call entered the studio to begin recording their debut CD, "Reaching Out." The CD consists of 10 original songs.Following is a brief timeline for Wisdom's Call
June 17, 2006 - The band rehearses for the first time.July 29, 2006 - The band enters the studio to begin recording "Reaching Out."October 14, 2006 - The CD is released and the band performs for the first time.December 1, 2006 - Wisdom's Call opens for DecembeRadio.December 31, 2006 - The band headlines a New Year's Eve show of 15 acts.February 5, 2007 - The band accepts invitation to play CornerstoneMarch 30, 2007 - The band officially signs with Soul Joy Records.As you scroll down through the timeline of Wisdom's Call, more than anything, we want you to see God's hand in all of this and realize that NOTHING is impossible with Him!! We are nothing without God, but believe if you follow His calling on your life, He will truly bless you. It doesn't mean everything will be "smooth sailing." In fact, it will be quite the opposite. Satan hates your guts and when you work for God, he will do whatever he can to stop it, but when you're covered by the blood, the enemy will always lose!!
