Through The Storm

About Me

Through The Storm was founded three years ago, when God’s hand took over and brought three brothers, (Shawn, Mark, and Jay) and a cousin, (Pat) together to form the original quartet. Since then we have been blessed to add the fifth member (Jamye), to finish out the lineup.

We have been blessed beyond measure. And gained enough notice for our ministry to be able to grace the stage with such bands as Skillet, and Disciple. No small accomplishment to say the least for such a new found group.

While our ministry grows and the music that God puts in our hearts ever evolves, we hold tight to the claim that we are here for one purpose. Through our music we bring light to dark places, bring the lost home, and give glory to our God for all that He has done, and will continue to do.

IN GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, AND WE ARE LIVING PROOF.

In an instant.

Last night we played a show to benefit a local ministry.  It was a food drive and quite a bit was gathered for them.  The show was a success, but this is not what I truly want to talk about....

How great is our God

How great is our God?  It's a very popular song that has been played thousands of times on the radio, and there's no telling how many times it's been played by praise and worship bands on Sunday ...

THE CD'S ARE DONE!!!!!

That's right, and we have them in hand.  We haven't figured out yet on how to get them out to anybody that's not local, and I've heard that Myspace kind of frowns on selling things through here.&...

The Devil is real

I just want to share a statement this time.  The Devil is real.  I know that someone may read this, and think to themselves that I've lost grip on reality.  It's true, he's real, and he...

Prayer and other things

First and foremost I'd like to ask anyone that reads this to pray for the youth group at my home church.  They leave today to start an 8 day mission trip to El Salvador.  Please ask God to h...

Next step

Since we have the master in hand, now the next thing to do is to get the duplication process started.  We were rained out of taking pictures for the artwork last week, so once that is done, it wi...
