My greatest satisfaction is the ability to express myself. I communicate best through my music.I love to spin records. I'm a vinyl junkie. I LOVE MUSIC!!! I love the fact that music can transcend barriers, language and culture. It can touch the heart and nourish the soul. I love to dance . Dancing is one of the most primitive forms of expression. I would like to travel the world. I WANNA SEE IT ALL!!!I want to be a bright light in the hollow darkness. I love writing and producing tracks. I enjoy yoga and I practice meditation.I love running and working out. I like the psychedelic side of music. I've been collecting art since high school. When I have time, I like to draw and paint. I enjoy I usually attend various & art festivals throughout the year. I enjoy reading, wasting time on line When i'm not feeling lazy, Ienjoy cooking and exploring different cuisines. I love road trips, good conversation, I LOVE , discovering new restaurants, meeting new and interesting people and sometimes I love to just hang out and do NOTHING and i'm not opposed to having a good time.(Really, i'm not...) __________ __________

For the most part I spin deep house , jazzy house, , progressive house , tech house, techno,, and depending on the mood trance. I'm always on the for new and interesting Artists or Music concepts. Two of my favorite albums of recent times are and . I just discovered a kick ass new artist Frou Frou I'm also digging Imogen Heap at the moment. She makes interesting beats and she writes amazing lyrics. A true artist by my definition. Also, i'm really getting into alot of electro.(Thanx Keoki!!) I'm really digging Miss Kittin, she's the !!!! Here's a list of Tiga and Fisherspooner are doing some pretty cool shit. One of my favorite albums right now is , they're fuckin' brilliant. I love !!, She's a genius and few people could argue with that. I also listen to alot of down tempo and trip hop like , Mono, Lamb, Soustice, Jazzanova, Delerium, Air, Sister Soleil, Morcheeba, and my favorite Portishead. When I get depressed I like to bust out Peter Murphy and The Cure One of my biggest influences is Robert Smith. Growing up I was obsessed with him and I truly believe the man is a genius and he will always be one of my idols. Sisters of Mercy I grew up on all the classic 'alternative' bands like Depeche Mode, Psychedlic Furs, Joy Division, Love and Rockets, Gene Loves Jezebel, Echo & The Bunnymen, Stone Roses, Inspiral Carpets, Carter USM, Happy Mondays, New Order, Siouxie & the Banshees, , Die Warsau, , Ministry(Old Ministry, you know what i'm talking about.) and St. Etienne. The Skatalites, The Toasters, Skapone, Operation Ivy, and my favorite, Blue Meanies. Recently I started to discover some of the older singer songwriters stuff from the 60's & 70's such as Simon & Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Joan Baez, James Taylor, and the legend himself...Leonard Cohen. (If you don't know who he is, learn your history folks!!)One of my favorite finds is Carole King's Tapestry. But for all the gems I'm passionate about, there is some stuff I disdain. I HATE COMMERCIAL , or as I like to call it 'pop hop'. If you are that impressionable that listening to people brag about how much , & they have then more power to you. I'm looking for something more...i'm not down with the whole 'gangsta' bullshit. It gives people false hope and glorifys violence, and theres alot of people making a ton of money off of it. WAKE UP PEOPLE!! Also, I generally don't buy any pop bullshit. It's just mindless bullshit for corporations to make money. I don't like to sound like a music snob, but I am!! But regardless of how much I hate pop music, I think the world needs pop music so, i'll put up with it, but only if it doesn't sound like it's manufactured. Since i'm a child of the Ninetendo Generation my true passion is Electronic Music. Here is the thing about electronic music though, YOU EITHER GET IT OR YOU DON'T!!! Me, I can't get enough!!! I listen to it way too much of it for own good. Here's a run down of my faves, 2 Many DJ's, Danger Mouse, , and Frost. Also, I dig just about anything that Deep Dish puts out. In my opinion they can't do no wrong. I love Paul Van Dyk, the man is brilliant. Sasha & Digweed, Way Out West, Sander Kleinenberg, goldfrapp, Telepopmusik, Rabbit in The Moon, Chicane, Timo Maas, Carl Cox, Miguel Migs makes the sexiest house music Ben Watt (Buzzin' Fly...do I need say more?!) Derrick Carter is the master of house, Mark Farina, Frankie Bones, Adam X, Heather Heart, Keoki I still dig what he has to say, Felix Da Housecat is a visionary, Colette, Dayhota, Lady D, Sista Stroke, Uberzone, Moby, Z-Trip, ATB, higher intelligence agency, Junkie XL, James Zabiela, The Future Sound of London, Deepsky, Accidental Heros, Basement Jaxx, Soul Slinger, Chemical Brothers, Paul Oakenfold, Daft Punk, Cassius, Supreme Beings of Liesure, M.I.A. But being from Chicago, my first and only true love is
Baraka, the last flick that really moved me. I'm so in love with this movie right now. Although I don't know if I can consider this a movie... it's a cinematic masterpiece! It's hard to explain what it is. There are no actors, plot, or fancy gimmicks. It's nothing more than a thought provoking, emotional rollercoaster that takes you through the complexities of this world. I've had friends cry during parts of it. If this movie doesn't restore your faith in humanity, nothing will. Also it works well with . I also love Little Miss Sunshine, Apocalypto The Secret Another great movie is, What The Bleep Do We Know. It's such a thought provoking movie!! Anything by John Waters...i'm a HUGE fan!! A Scanner Darkly, The City of Lost Children and Dancer In The Dark!! I don't care too much about most of the "blockbusters" that Hollywood puts out, but I will watch just about anything with

One of favorite books of all time is . This is one of the most inspiring fables of all time. I hear they're making a movie out of it. I just read, Insatiable by Gael Greene. She's an old food critic from New York Magazine. The book is a memoir and she's had quite a life. When I was younger I was into all those S.E. Hinton books like The Outsiders, Rumble Fish. Go Ask Alice gave me my first look into pschedelics, Flowers in the Attic was freaky and incestual. To Kill A Mockingbird, ,The is a story about the 10 basic insights of energy and . The story takes place in South America and takes you on a journey of self discovery, faith and self-fulfilment. This book kept me at the edge of my seat. The Chronicles of Narnia Babylon Religious Mystery - If you ever wanna get a view on religion from a historical point of view, than this is the book for you. It focusus on alot of paganism and the Catholic Church. Anything by Chuck Palahniuk, Choke - Absolutely twisted. It's about this con-artist who scams everyone and everything. Fight Club - saw the movie first, then read the book. The movie doesn't do it justice. Although, it did capture the essence of the charcters. I also read alot of self help books, cooking books, encyclopedias, dictionaries and also, I do read alot magazines as well. (Including tabloids...I know...) , xlr8r, BPM, , Rolling Stone, and Blender.
