Let the good times begin. Every friday at Lucky Bar. Jungle after midnight. sometimes after 10.
"I went into the woods because I wanted to live deliberately.I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life... to put to rout all that which was not life; and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived."

I have been Spinnin' tunes since 1998. I did Vinyl for the first few months, then I picked up a set of cd turntables and my life was changed. I use both records and cd's in my sets, so the purists can't stand me. Oh well, they can fuck off and play with their records only. I get to laugh at them when they have to baby them all day on a hot day. I can leave my cd's out to cook, cuz I can burn another. I always had a ton of really good cd's and little records. Crystal Method Daft Punk and Prodigy consumed most of what I wanted to spin into obscure old rock, R&B and jazz. Old techno melted away different tracks into other tracks. I started on techno, breaks, jungle, electro and trance. I started spinnin hard house and progressive garbage, too (sorry, it made me a little money.) I always had a love for jungle and reggae. I use what I got and make you groove with me. I like very heady and vocal tracks in what I do. I don't like to toggle back and forth quickly. I love to leave my crossfader smack dab in the middle. Play with my effects while they are superimposed and have a good time warping two perfectly good tracks into my fusion. I use all sorts of effects and toys with my sets. I take up a little bit of space in a dj booth with all the equipt I tend to bring. It is funny how old the cd tables I bring are. They were some of the first tables I played with, technically they were the second set of cd tables I own. Some asshole stole my gear and a bunch of original cd's. Seriously he took two 256 cd books full of purchased music. I still curse this asshole to this day. Take all of your bad energy and give it to the little thieves of this world. Let bad things happen to them instead of you and me. So I lost thousands of dollars worth of music, so I now tend to burn cd's and spin them instead of bringin' the originals. I also have a tendancy to give cd's out to pretty faces that ask me what was that bangin' track that I just played. Music is a powerful thing that needs to affect us all. Music has always been a driving force in my mind. My family has always been passionate about music, although there were no musicians in my family. I always gotta be the black sheep I guess. Some might say I am not a musician, I am just a dj. Well those people are wrong, I am an all around artist. I play Bass guitar, percussion, turntables, (EFX) effects, idiots and cd's. I also paint and sketch. I used to carve hardwoods, but the scars are only cool if you can actually use your hands. Anyways back to music. For many of the years I spun, it was just a hobby. It is kinda ironic I made more loot back then at parties, rather than I do now going from club to club. It wasn't until recently I have made it a priority in life. I almost died two years ago and I had a vision of what my life could be like. I did not see this vision as the way my life needs to go. I realized music was my saviour and what brought me back to this world. The infinite directions that anyone can go with music fits my free flow lifestyle. I'll try almost anything once, I've done it many times in music as well as life. [email protected] (Think of it as the shriners of music; donations are accepted and given to those who need it.) I have spun many different genres in the past 9 years. After a two year heiatus, I decided to do what I love; make people dance and have a good time. I gave up a steady, well paying job so I could make it out to clubs, parties and gigs. I sacrificed a six figure salary to become a broke-ass artist. I have no regrets about it; life experiences are way more appealing than cold cash. Don't try to impress me with your expensive cars, clothes or cribs; I've had them all and I gave them up for music. I like nice things, but I don't want those things to own me. If I can't fly off to Vegas or Tokyo on a weeks notice, then something owns me besides the experiences of life. Come out and enjoy yourself with me. You don't have to be rich or poor; just fun. One more thing...Quit lookin' at my taco bitch!!
