About Me

I’ve been working on making beats, typically as a co-collaborator, for nearly a decade now. I first started with trance, ebm/industrial, and even hip-hop beats. I attended my first rave party in 2000 and became immediately drawn to "the scene." After trying many genres, I was drawn to the most evil, insane, despicable genre out there, HARDCORE. This went with my personal belief that music should be evil. I gradually became more drawn to this genre. Being a "broke ass chump", I found it hard to acquire all of the necessary equipment to make my own contribution to the music I loved. However, over the last 5 or six years, I’ve managed to work my fingers to the bone, and acquire a high quality synthesizer, much vinyl, turntables, and various mixers, sound systems, wires(my philosophy is you can never have too many wires, FUCK WIRELESS), microphones and recording equipment. I also have my one and only true love, Erica, working as my official photographer and image consultant. At this point, I don’t have all the toys I desire, but I feel like I’m more than ready. I want to unleash something first upon Chicago and then, Satan willing, upon the rest of the world. I want to be friendly and personable at parties but take all of my aggression out on the decks. I want to bring some of the more unknown hardcore sounds from the Dutch masters to eager Chicago party kids. I’m also working on producing my own hardcore sounds, and I promise they will make your feet stomp, ear drums rattle, and most importantly shake your faith. Stay tuned, kiddies.

Band Members:Events playedThe given name of the Four Star General of the Psychopath Nation is PAUL SPARROW. I will play fucking hardcore, just name the time and place. I’m also working on producing my own hardcore/gabber tracks. I’m still at the beginning of the process. All of this mofuckin’ technology sux ass. In other words, I’m still working on putting the beats, samples, synth lines, and random evil shit that’s firing inside my head constantly onto a computer and then a cd. I don’t have a timetable on any release dates, but stay tuned, mofucka’s.
Influences:I'm not really a name dropper, and I totally consider the "Influences" part of this thing name dropping. Since I began in the scene and even before hand, I've gotten into tons of artists from various genres. A short list would include Angerfist, Nosferatu, Omar Santana, Delta 9, VNV Nation, Catscan, DJ Panic, Neophyte, Funkervogt, Tron, and many more. One experience that I was greatly influenced by, was vacationing in Holland. I was able to party out there, and saw just a glimpse of the REAL hardcore scene. The parties out there are huge, and they have things (in particular, live pa hardcore sets w/ live mcs) that we just don't see much of in the States. I have a strong desire to bring some of this to Chi-Town. Basically, anyone throwing down the fucking hardcore evil ass shit, regardless of genre or location has my full support. To sum it up, all you need to know is that the music I've listened to over the years has influenced me, and it makes me want to bring hedonistic, evil, psychotic, delusional, fucked up, dimented sick ass shit to my hometown of Chicago first, and then Satan willing, to the rest of the world. Hardcore 'til I die.
