About Me

Strong melodies are what's thrusting The List and its lead singer Runar Aase into the Norwegian spotlight. Strong hooks and lyrics, not to mention its energetic melodies, is this band's calling card.
Whether The List played their first gig in local pub "Banken", or made their debut in norwegian rock-contest Zoom, is still highly debated. Either way it was back in 2004, and either way the band didn't really get going until realizing they actually had something going on, by reaching the local final of the very same contest.
Their debut album will hit the shelves early next year. The album with the working title "Debbie Does Music" will be a collection of indie/country-rock tunes, the album took a while in the making but the final result turned out great. The idea behind the album was, in their words; "embracing the cruel twist and turns that life grant you, making the best out of nothing, losing track of time and forgoing love just to find it again".
